Following are some exercises that voice actors can use to warm up their voice:

1. Lip rolls

Lip rolls are a great way to wake up the range and helps you move through the different vocal registers.

2. Tongue trills

According to Peter Salzano, Tongue trills are the same as the lip rolls but they cause a vibration in the tongue, rather than the lips. This exercise is another great way to move through the range.

3. “N” Sound

The ‘Nnn’ sound highly activates some resonance in the front of your face, but moves it slightly higher than the “M” sound and into the nose area.

4. “M” Sound

This sound is a good way to achieve resonance in front of your face and mouth. Simply make an “M” sound with a closed mouth and use constant breath flow.

5. The “Zzz” sound

The “Z” sound is another good exercise to activate resonance in the front of the mouth and face.

The above exercises listed by Peter Salzano are a great way to activate and warm up different areas of your vocal sound.
